Black 3.5 Cu Ft Grit Bin with Yellow Lid - 115 Litre / 130 kg Capacity

This 3.5 Cu Ft Grit Bin is fitted with a hinged yellow lid which features a moulded “GRIT” logo and is angled to minimise the amount of snow and ice settling on top of the bin, ensuring ease of use during the winter months. 

With a capacity of 115 litres (130kg) and a stackable design for space-saving storage, it is practical for domestic use, as well as suitable for small businesses, primary schools and other busy environments where space is at a premium. 

Constructed from durable and UV-resistant Polyethylene, this bin will not deteriorate from long term exposure to the winter elements. The design of this bin allows it to be easily manoeuvred via forklift or pallet trucks, which makes it easy to transport it even when full of rock salt. This portability makes this unit great for high traffic areas or large premises such as manufacturing plants, distribution centres, public spaces, shopping centres and more.

​Optional Extras

To assist with spreading your grit salt, or for helping transfer it from your grit bin into your salt spreader, we can supply a plastic handheld scoop. The scoop measures 310 x 140 x 185mm.

Another add-on is our telescopic shovel, which includes a clip which will allow you to fasten the shovel to the inside lid of the grit box for convenient storage (as shown in the image).

To ensure you are thoroughly prepared for winter, we can supply this salt bin with 125kg (5 x 25kg bags) of either brown or white rock salt.
