The square cigarette pedestal bin has an attractive design and is manufactured from glass fibre composite (GFC) to ensure a long lifetime. Glass fibre composite is used as it is extremely tough, durable and corrosion resistant.
The GFC cigarette disposal bins are available in a choice of three finishes, textured, smooth or Victoriana. The textured finish uses PTX textured paint to give a rough finish not too dissimilar to sandpaper and is designed to prevent unwanted graffiti and posters being applied to the unit. The smooth finish uses a smoother pseudo-cast iron finish with only a slight texture and no roughness.
The Victoriana finish uses the smooth finish with only a slight texture and no roughness with the addition of highlighted beading as standard to give a classic Victorian appearance. The Victorian finish is a popular choice for heritage sites and town centres.
The unit features a lockable galvanised steel ashtray and liner module for easy emptying and an acrylic ‘No Smoking’ sign is fitted to two opposite faces of the bin. The unit is supplied with a pre-drilled base for ground fixing using RAWL bolts.
