Is this bin made from real wood?

No. It has the stylish look of timber but without the upkeep, making it particularly suitable where a more traditional appearance is preferred. The frame is powder-coated steel, coupled with wood-effect plastic panels. Unlike real wood, they don’t need treating to remain outside. The bin is also UV and fire resistant, and has a steel lid and removable galvanised steel liner.
