What is a reconditioned IBC, and how does it differ from rebottled?
A reconditioned IBC is a used container that goes through an inspection process that assesses the overall condition of the cage, pallet and inner bottle.
The plastic tank/inner bottle is thoroughly cleaned and leak tested. If required, any lids, valves or gaskets are replaced. It often costs much less than a new IBC and suits non-potable water and non-hazardous liquids.
However, it isn’t the same as a rebottled IBC tank, which has a brand-new inner bottle fitted into a reused frame.
