Our seated, electric counterbalance forklift designed for logistics and industrial applications, particularly in indoor environments where zero emissions and low noise levels are essential. With a rated capacity of 1.8 tonnes at a 500 mm load centre, it is ideally suited to light-to-medium duty operations while its compact dimensions and tight 1,550 mm turning radius ensure excellent maneuverability in narrow aisles and confined spaces.

Powered by an advanced 48 V lithium-ion battery with capacities ranging from 505 to 595 Ah, the KBE 18Li delivers high energy efficiency with low consumption of approximately 5.5 kWh/h. The lithium-ion technology enables fast interim charging for maximum uptime, is virtually maintenance-free, and eliminates the risk of hazardous gas emissions during charging. Dual 6.5 kW AC drive motors and a 16.5 kW lift motor provide smooth, reliable, and maintenance-free performance, allowing travel speeds of up to 15 km/h unladen and confident handling on ramps with a maximum gradeability of 20%.

The robust mast offers a standard lift height of 3,000 mm, with a lowered height of 2,005 mm and a maximum extended height of 3,945 mm, along with a forward and backward tilt of 5° and 7° respectively to ensure precise load handling. Superelastic tyres, a stable 1,295 mm wheelbase, and a service weight of approximately 3,260 kg contribute to excellent stability and control, while aisle width requirements of around 3,241 mm to 3,441 mm support efficient pallet handling in warehouse environments.

Operator comfort and safety are central to the KBE 18Li’s design. The spacious operator cabin features a metal grid step and large handle for safe entry and exit, two storage compartments, dual USB charging ports, and an electronic forward/reverse switch for quick directional changes. A rear handhold with integrated horn enhances safety during reversing, while the foot-activated parking brake offers easier and more ergonomic operation than traditional hand brakes. Wet brakes further reduce maintenance requirements compared to conventional drum brake systems.

A colour display provides all key operational information at a glance, supporting effortless monitoring and control, while the low sound pressure level of ≤75 dB(A) ensures a quiet and comfortable working environment.
