Our uBins are an environmentally friendly approach to waste separation and recycling. Made from 100% recycled material, it is also fully recyclable itself. The uBin is the world's first bin created from recycled post-consumer plastic sourced in the UK. Their large 50-70 litre capacity makes them an excellent addition to any office, school, restaurant, and many other workplaces.

As well as looking sleek, the uBins are also functional. Their sizable overhanging lid conceals bin liners, while the coloured lid inserts enhances the visibility of both the product and helps to quickly identify what recyclables the bin is for. These recycling bins also feature a small air hole in the base, which helps to make bag removal easier.

The separation waste collection station combines five of our uBins to provide you with all the recycling and waste segregation your business needs.

Among the additional options for the uBin are the joining clip, enabling seamless connection of multiple bins through an inconspicuous clip system.

The optional box of 200 liners are made from 25 Micron translucent Polyethylene and with a little care can be re-used numerous times. The liners are medium duty and have a weight limit of 10kg.

What’s Included?

  • x5 uBin Base
  • x5 uBin Lid
  • x6 WRAP Compatible Recycling Labels (per bin)

The real advantage to this waste collection station is that it provide you with everything your business needs to comply with Welsh recycling regulations. Unaware of these new regulations? We'll break it down for you.

Separated Waste Collections for Workplaces

As of 6th April 2024 (subject to the Senedd) all workplaces will be required to separate their recycling into six different types:

  1. Food – for premises that produce more than 5kg of food waste a week
  2. Paper and card
  3. Glass
  4. Metal, plastic, and cartons and other fibre-plastic composite packaging of a similar composition
  5. Unsold small waste electrical and electronic equipment (sWEEE)
  6. Unsold textiles

Each to be collected separately by your local authority or waste contractor. Failure to comply with these regulations may result in a fine.

Why is the Welsh government enacting these changes? This new method of recycling is designed to help Wales reach zero waste and reduce carbon emissions by 2050. This will be done by keeping recycled materials in use for as long as possible, which will help to tackle the rising costs of materials.
