About the 1000 Litre New Schutz IBC – Black Steel Pallet – UN Approved
This brand-new 1000 litre IBC has an opaque black inner bottle that blocks out sunlight, helping to limit algae growth and keep its contents fresher for longer than a standard translucent bottle. Manufactured by market-leaders Schutz, every part of this IBC is new: a blow-moulded, UV-stabilised virgin HDPE bottle, a new lid and valve, and a galvanised steel cage on a steel pallet. This means the IBC is completely clean and unused from day one.
The galvanised steel frame resists corrosion and sits on a standard 1200 x 1000 mm pallet footprint, so it can be moved easily by forklift or pallet truck and stacks safely. The virgin, BPA-free bottle is suitable for liquids for human consumption such as drinking water, milk, alcohol or oils, while UN approval means it can also safely hold hazardous, flammable and corrosive liquids.
This black steel IBC comes with a 150mm (6”) top fill cap, tamper-evident seals and a 2” (S60x6) butterfly valve outlet.
