Details

Our high-quality, single-trip Grade A IBCs are professionally laundered to a very high standard, making them ideal if you require a container in as close to “new” condition. They feature a clean interior, with very few imperfections or signs of rust. They are pressure tested to 70 psi (4.83 bar) and are the highest grade of used IBC we offer.

The steel jacket around the internal bottle demonstrates far greater resilience even in the toughest conditions and features a galvanised steel frame, 150mm lid and 50mm valve.

The container’s outer surface, or jacket, is made entirely of steel with increased resistance to mechanical and thermal stress. The steel sheet jacket protects the container from electrostatic charge. The inner bottle is manufactured from extrusion blow-moulded HDPE.

The steel jacket adds an extra layer of protection against UV rays, allowing the contents to remain fresh for longer when compared to a standard translucent bottle. The production of green water and algae in standing water is also reduced.

Important: Due to supply issues, orders of 4+ reconditioned IBCs are temporarily subject to an extended lead time. We appreciate your patience and if you’d like to discuss this further please call our sales team on 01777 237933.

What is an IBC?

Intermediate bulk containers (IBC) are reusable industrial containers, which are designed for the safe transportation and storage of bulk liquids. They are stackable containers, mounted on a pallet that is designed to be moved using a forklift or pallet jack. The tubular galvanised steel frame around the container guarantees utmost stability. This also fits perfectly into the grooves of a plastic pallet; both below and above the container which enables an exact positioning and problem-free stacking.
