This battery storage cabinet is ideal for storing and lithium batteries as used in devices such as power tools. It is a sturdy unit made from non-flammable, fire resistant components with special fire protection seals which prevent escape of flames.
The entire cabinet is made of steel construction with a core of 25mm heavy duty fireproof fibre-reinforced material that also thermally insulates the cabinet to prevent transfer of heat in the event of a fire.
It features a cold smoke-tight sealing system for openings and is equipped with a smoke detector and warning alarm in case of a fire. Also to keep the content inside safe and secure it has lockable double doors.
There is also forklift access clearance (100 mm) for positioning and removal of cabinet in the event of an incident. Addition to that, the cabinets can be stacked on each other to save storage space.
Please note: These cabinets are manufactured to the standard EN 1363-1 and have been tested to withstand an internal fire for longer than 60 minutes.
All cabinets include warning labels and safety instructions.
