About the 300 Litre COMPACTline - Grade A Reconditioned IBC

This Grade A reconditioned IBC is part of manufacturer Werit’s COMPACTline and is perfectly suited to storing liquid in places a standard-sized 1000 litre IBC can’t reach. This reconditioned IBC gives you that option for less than half the price of a new one.

At 600 × 800 × 1000mm (D × W × H), it takes up less than half the floor area of a standard 1000 litre IBC. Turn it side-on and the 600mm side goes through a standard doorway, so you can keep liquid inside the workshop, production area or warehouse where it's used, instead of carrying it in from a yard.

The footprint is exactly half a Euro pallet, so two units can sit side-by-side in the space of one standard 1200 × 800mm pallet. That keeps floor plans, bunded areas and vehicle loads simple, because the units simply slot into the pallet spaces you already work with.

The 2" outlet uses the standard S60x6 IBC valve thread, so it takes the same adaptors, hoses and fittings as a full-size IBC. So, if you already use IBCs, you won't need special parts. But if this is your first time purchasing an IBC, you can add a 2" BSP, Camlock, 1" BSP swivel or pipe elbow fitting from the options above and connect straight to your hose or pipework when it arrives.

Day to day, the translucent bottle shows how much is left without opening the lid, so you can see when it's time to refill or reorder. The wide 150mm (6") filler lid makes filling easy.

The galvanised tubular steel cage sits on a plastic pallet that moves with a pallet truck or forklift, and you can move the unit by hand when it's empty. When you're storing more than one, the cage locks into the grooves of the pallet above and below so units stack neatly and securely.

What Grade A means

Grade A reconditioned IBCs are cleaned and leak-tested, with the lid, valve or gaskets replaced where needed, and the cage is structurally sound. Cages and pallets may show cosmetic marks from previous use, but this doesn’t affect how the container performs, and they're the reason you pay less than half the price of new.

Not for drinking water

Reconditioned IBCs have held other liquids before, so they are not suitable for drinking water, food or animal feed. For drinking water, consider the 300 Litre COMPACTline New IBC.

Delivery

Dispatched in 1-3 working days on a kerbside pallet service. The vehicle has a tail lift and pallet truck, so you don't need unloading equipment. We deliver to most UK mainland postcodes; some Scottish, Highland and island postcodes cost more (see the delivery details above). A residential-address surcharge, if it applies, is shown at checkout.

Suitable for Not suitable for

Rainwater collection: fit a mesh filter lid and a hoselock adaptor to collect rainwater and run a garden hose for watering or washing down.

Drinking water and food: reconditioned IBCs have held other liquids before, so they're not for drinking water, food, drink, animal feed or livestock water.

Washing down and cleaning: keep water or diluted cleaning solution close to the job for washing vehicles, yards, equipment and machinery.

Uncovered outdoor water storage: the translucent bottle lets in sunlight, which can encourage algae.

Indoor and workshop storage: the 600mm side fits through a standard doorway, so it can hold process water or other non-food liquids right where they're used.

Display areas: cages and pallets may show cosmetic marks.

Gravity-fed supply: add a tap or gravity hose kit to the standard S60x6 outlet to draw water off without a pump.

Tight spaces and smaller volumes: it holds 300 litres in less than half the floor area of a 1,000-litre IBC, without leaving a full-size IBC half empty.

Growing storage: units stack and two fit in one Euro pallet space, so you can add more as your needs grow.

Product Questions (5)

Customer Questions
What is a Reconditioned IBC?
A reconditioned IBC is a second-hand, used IBC which has been thoroughly cleaned. The cage must be structurally intact with minimal surface damage. The plastic tank/inner bottle is cleaned and leak tested. If required, any lids, valves or gaskets are replaced.
Can I use a Reconditioned IBC for Drinking Water?
No. Although reconditioned IBCs have been professionally cleaned, they might have previously held any type of liquid or chemicals, and traces of this liquid could remain in the bottle. Therefore, they should not be used to store any product that is consumed by humans or animals.
What were Reconditioned IBCs previously used for?
Because reconditioned IBCs are sourced from different industrial applications, it may not always be possible to guarantee their previous contents. If the history of the container is important for your application, please contact the sales team before ordering.
What is a reconditioned IBC, and how does it differ from rebottled?
A reconditioned IBC is a used container that goes through an inspection process that assesses the overall condition of the cage, pallet and inner bottle.  The plastic tank/inner bottle is thoroughly cleaned and leak tested. If required, any lids, valves or gaskets are replaced. It often costs much less than a new IBC and suits non-potable water and non-hazardous liquids. However, it isn’t the same as a rebottled IBC tank, which has a brand-new inner bottle fitted into a reused frame.
What is the difference between Grade A and Grade B reconditioned IBCs?
Grade A reconditioned IBC containers are the best condition we offer, having gone through a comprehensive inspection and professional laundering process. While Grade B IBCs are cheaper, they could arrive with any pallet type, colour, valve size or lid. Grade B IBCs may also have dents, minor rust, staining or residue. Generally, we advise you choose Grade A if you need a clean, ‘nearly new’ bottle for a specific setup, and Grade B if appearance doesn’t matter.
