This plastic transport box is engineered for the safe and compliant transport of lithium-ion batteries with capacities up to 19kWh. Designed for high-risk battery logistics, the box has a generous internal volume of 500 litres, which must be filled to at least 80% during use to ensure regulatory compliance and performance reliability. To enhance fire suppression and gas containment, the box is supplied with 16 AkkuGrain® M-size bags (totaling 400L), integrated specifically to absorb toxic and flammable gases and regulate internal temperatures during battery-related incidents. These bags are a critical safety feature and must be replaced if a fire occurs within the container.
For secure sealing during transit, the unit is fitted with 10 lid fasteners that ensure the lid remains firmly in place, preventing it from loosening or detaching. These fasteners are user-friendly and can be removed or reattached with ease, allowing for quick access or secure closure as needed. The transport box is made from high-strength plastic and is certified under UN 4H2, affirming its suitability for the transportation of hazardous battery types.
