Ideal for logistics, plant hire, and remote site fuelling, this 950 litre bunded diesel bowser is built on a fully EU highway-certified trailer chassis. Unlike site-only models, this version is legal for towing on public roads up to 60 mph and is fully equipped with road lighting, brakes, reflectors, and a compliant towing hitch — making it suitable for road-to-site operations where mobility is key.
At its core is a 980-litre polyethylene inner tank, providing a clean and rust-free fuel storage solution, safely housed within a 3mm steel outer bund that contains 110% of the tank’s volume to meet environmental standards. The lockable stainless steel rear door, four lifting points, and fork pockets ensure safe transport and handling when off the chassis.
It arrives ready for immediate use, fitted with a K1 semi-rotary hand pump, inline Y-strainer, 15’ of 1” fuel hose and a trigger nozzle. Optional upgrades include a 12V electric pump or high-flow 1” petrol pump, making this bowser suitable for a wide range of applications.
Why Choose a Highway Bowser (vs Site)?
If you need to move fuel between locations or across public roads, a highway bowser is the compliant choice. Compared to site-only models, it includes full road lighting, brakes, and type-approved towing gear — all legally required for road use. While it carries a higher upfront cost, a highway bowser offers greater flexibility and full legal compliance, ideal for businesses needing both on-site and road transport capability. For a lower-cost option suitable for internal site use only, consider our Site Tow Fuel Bowser.
